High school intern
I’m 17, a senior in high school and basically have an internship lined up this summer.
Is it worth it, like will it put me ahead of the race? or will people just think I’m some nepobaby?
If you take initiative, treat your internship seriously, learn as much as you can, and articulate those learnings in future interviews in a clear way, then you are not a "nepo-baby" in the sense that you will have legitimately learned something.
It would help to have more details on what internship this is. If it's Daddy's company with the family name, then people will know that that is the case, but even that helps. One of my colleagues did roofing in high school. Just work hard and do your best.
