High yield dividends vs equity appreciation in Roth IRA?
Is it better to focus on high yield dividends or stock appreciation in your Roth IRA? To fully benefit from the tax benefit, I’m leaning towards high growth versus dividends.
What do y’all think?
What do you mean fully benefit from the tax benefit? You are not going to pay any taxes on the dividends or the growth. What is your objective?
Ig what I’m trying to say is if u get a higher return in growth stocks, u would rather have high growth over high dividends in a Roth.
U can diversify portfolio in other accounts but the Roth should be for growth
