I'm shocked Yelp is still in business. If it wasn't for them bribing a bunch of politicians to get a "we aren't liable for defamation that happens on our app" bill passed they would be bankrupt. Its amazing that a company that clearly extorts money from others for protection in the form of a high yelp rating is allowed to continue their business practices.

I'm not going to lie, I love Yelp. I think they should have a system like Rotten Tomatoes where there are two types of ratings...one that's like an "audience" rating where riff-raff and the hoi polloi can post whatever they want, and a "critic" rating where the user has to be somehow verified or proven to be reliable and trustworthy and not a troll.
