Homeless economics...how thirsty would you have to be to buy a drink from a homeless person?
Hey, was driving through the city the other day and saw a homeless person selling gatorade and water (assuming they were homeless, they looked it). Ether way, made we think, how thirsty would you have to be to buy that from them. Made we think further, if you sell a whole case of gatorade on the highway, maybe you make $10, but thats if you sell the whole case. It's also a whole days worth of work essentially.
Anyone have any insight on how homeless people do this, why they do, if its the most effective homeless hustle, or what is the most effective?
I've bought a couple of bottles of water from a homeless guy selling them. I don't know why they do it, maybe it's their only option. At least they aren't begging and harassing people for spare change.
