For senior bankers that live in Manhattan, how common is having household help? Do they generally have a full-time butler or nanny at their residences and for their families? Also, how about a full-time driver for the wife/kids, etc.? What is the cost of each of these respectively on an annual basis, and do most MDs or Senior MDs go for it? I know in Asia these are very common things to have, and I was wondering what the customs are like for guys who are pulling down mid-seven figure type salaries in Manhattan.
