How do you end phone calls?
As someone who strives for a life of efficiency, I find ending phone calls madly frustrating.
I tend to just hang up when the conversation reaches a natural conclusion. Some people call back thinking their connection died. Seriously, why? We both knew the call was over. But the "thanks for your help have a great day" or "i really appreciate it, talk to you later." is just a bunch of vocal fluff with no real purpose.
So, do you guys just hang up? If not, what sort of closing do you use?
I usually press the red button that has the phone symbol.
Saying "Thanks for your help, have a great day" vocalizes the conclusion of the conversation. It's rude to just hang up.
