You are the second person I’ve met whose Chinese name is “dumbass”, small world

Totally kidding, although I’d make sure you have someone you trust verify any tattoos in foreign languages if you I were you (guessing you did), seen some mistakes before.

I started studying Chinese in 2004 and went to Beijing through Columbia in 2005. My Chinese teacher gave me this name. I had this name etched into a marble stamp in Ancient Chinese in 2005 in Beijing and then after 5 years decided to get it inked on me in red in 2010. So it was a well researched decision to get the ink.

That's awesome. I took Japanese in college and my Japanese name is basically the same as my English name. Never thought about getting a tattoo like that, but I could see why someone would tattoo Chinese characters. Really loved learning to write kanji and generally find Chinese writing very beautiful. I think Tibetan writing is really interesting, too. Cool that it's written vertically, it makes the script look really unique.

Drop the bombs A2D: None. I can't fathom the idea of having foreign objects in or on my body. If you do, doesn't make you somehow undesirable, but I will never do that to myself.

In the twist of this one, look at some of the Suicide Girls type or some of the Japanese Geisha women. Say what you will, but I actually find it a turn on and not in the "just to piss off your parents bringing her to Easter dinner" sense.

Small tattoos mean she’s a thot. Full tattoos like what your referencing means she’s absolutely insane (which can be good depending on what your goal is).

I don't have tattoos and I don't really feel good about them. I don't know why, but when I look at my neighbor who is 70 years old and see a tattoo on her body. I always want to walk up to her and ask her: didn't you know what was going to happen to that tattoo at your age? You just have to see it.

google horiyoshi III. it's not about the age, it's the quality of the art. high quality ink with a high quality artist with a well thought out design can be beautiful and lasting

for me, I've got a half sleeve and my ribs covered. if I think of enough designs I love, I'll have a full sleeve and may get some leg and chest pieces, TBD. my wife said she wants one side clean so I've gotta respect that, but I love ink and it's never been an issue professionally

Definitely was an alt boy in high school with the whole tattoo vibe, earrings, and even a nose stud for awhile. Took ear and nose piercings out like sophomore year in college, still occasionally rock an earring when I go out.

Haven’t gotten anything tattoo wise in 3 years but have a half sleeve up over my shoulder and a few smaller ones on chest/ribs. Longer sleeve polos cover about 95% of it so people usually don’t notice.

Will probably get a few more for fun while I’m under 30 still. The tat style is all black ink american traditional with various latin/hebrew phrases.

Are girls into it? I’m asking because they all seem to like the same type: tall, blonde, rower/lacrosse kinda guy. Feel like they don’t give many opportunities to dudes with tattoos, mullets or piercings.

Well if your social circle is UMC sorority girls, it’s unsurprising they will gravitate towards the Frat bro. Just look at the comments above making sweeping generalizations on girls with tattoos coming from UMC guys. People tend to date those who they are most similar to .”Opposites attract” doesn’t hold for social class or social norms.
This is a rather long winded way of saying if you are a guy with tattoos/ and or piercings, your best luck is with girls who have multiple piercings and tattoos.
