I think it can increase like 30-40 points but there's so many other factors... if you're already overlevered it could even go down. Not a big enough change to take out a mortgage just for your credit score
It will actually go down when lenders start pulling your credit score to determine if you're eligible.
I've never heard of a credit score going up with a mortgage? Maybe if you have limited credit history, making mortgage payments over time will build that and increase your score.
