Not prestigious at all. He's a fraud. His house is leased (I was a broker in LA) and people who know him all know he's all flash. He DOES make a lot of money because he has to pay that lease and all the car leases etc. But he spends a lot to keep it up- so his net income is very low if not outright 0.

Two ways to look at it:

  1. He does live a pretty cool life. He's in Beverly Hills with a Lambo and IG models around him. His revenue has to pretty high to afford that.
  2. His life is leased and he pretty much has no tangible assets that anyone I've met is aware of. He is definitely far less successful than he makes himself out to be.

Anyone selling you 'books' on how to get rich definitely are faking it till they make it, that's literally their idea.

Idk how I would feasibly value his company without him in it. I would assume that is the bulk of/ all of his net worth. Maybe someone else on WSO knows how to do this.

He does interview with cool people no doubt. But I don't exactly buy into that as a form of credibility.

I personally think of him as a bottom feeder. His life seems empty and unfulfilling. Have you ever seen/ heard of Death of a Salesman? Maybe I'm jaded against fraudsters, who knows?

What are the sources on the income and marketing spend? Not saying you’re wrong, but people like this benefit from spreading misinformation about themselves…

Sounds like he's doing it wrong. If you need to keep earning income then you're not rich, period. To me, being rich is being free of the worry of having to make money. Having assets and not needing to ever work (even though many choose to anyway).

No he is not prestigious.

Prestigious people do not drive 448s, 488s, and Huracans. They drive Enzos and LaFerraris. (Assuming they are into spending their money on sports cars)

It is not about how much you spend to gain "clout", what school you went to. It is your actions. Warren, Bill, Even Elon do not really care about the amount sitting in their bank account. Warren said he still lives his life like he did when he was making $200,000. Bill says after a few million it is all the same. When you have so much money that everybody knows you have it; you reach what I would call prestige.

Let Forbes billionaire edition do the talking not the house you live in, or the car you drive.

I'll leave you with a quote from Rae Shremmurd. "When the money talks what is there to say"

Completely agree. Unfortunate how RE gets a bad rep because of guys like this. His fan base is pretty devout to him, it's ridiculous.

No one in real estate gets a bad rep because of Tai Lopez. Anyone over the age of 35 doesn't even know who he is.

I disagree. Having people like him in the world means it is easier to identify the idiots and wannabe grifters out there - just stay as far away as possible from anyone who expresses admiration for him. Otherwise you might have to find out the hard way.

Man gives too much unsolicited advice. I'm watching a YouTube video and this loser pops up telling me what I should do with my life.

On a serious note....

Why is it always the people who have the shittiest lives are the ones offering motivational speeches to me on social media?

Lets say he has been on YT doing this dumb shit for 4 years.

4x365.25x100,000 = 146,100,000-500,000,000 = -353,900,000

Thats a pretty fucking terrible ROI if you ask me.

Follow the shit your fellow monkeys say @shitWSOsays Life is hard, it's even harder when you're stupid - John Wayne

I'd say that this guy is quite prestigious, he found 11.3 million idiots that follow him (6.2 without double counting across different social media platforms).

Jokes apart, I really doubt that his annual income is $36,5M and it sounds even more suspicious to me that he spent $500M on YT ads. Considering that he has nearly 300M views on his YT channel, this works out at around 1,7 dollar per view, which is quite insane.
