How to Copy the Big Swinging Dicks?

WSO,

Is it possible to follow trades of top hedge fund managers and make mulah from the ripple effect a.k.a noise trading?

I have heard numerous times that most hedge fund managers follow the top dogs. But hows that possible? Hedge funds have to file the SC 13D/A with SEC after two weeks after they trade.

So how do other hedge funds copy trades?

Its possible, you have to know their top traders styles. People might think that they don't follow a trading pattern, however most people do infact trade certian ways.

It's almost impossible to follow them in real time, it's an older saying, think pre hft, when people could see the upticks on trading software and if they knew the market could guess who the players were based on the size and frequency of the trades.
