How to figure next steps in career?

Hey folks, hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Have been reflecting the past few months and could use some advice. For background context - I am an analyst (~2.5yrs) in a BB within Equities. I am expected to get a promotion to associate in the upcoming cycle (from what I’ve heard from my manager...who knows if that will follow through). But after almost three years, I feel like I’ve learned and got all the skillset I can take in this role. At this point, its starting to be somewhat repetitive. I feel like I am in that age (25) or time in my career to have that flexibility to jump and try other roles. How do you guys figure out what the next role should be?

Working in hf in the execution side sounds interesting but honestly not sure...I just want a career that has a future lol
