How to let girls know you’re rich without being a douche

I’ve been matching with some hot community college girls on tinder, but I get the feeling they want to date their community college counterpart despite all the upside to dating a rich guy. Or maybe they’re into frat dudes (my school doesn’t have frats).

Do these chicks just not know how much bankers make? Should I mention in my opener or my bio that I make $150k? What’s the strategy here boys

Any way to let girls know with your pics that you’re rich? Do girls even care if you’re rich? I thought CC girls would 100% care

Anyways let’s hear your thoughts boys

Tell them you're majoring in accounting.

Yours is a little more colorful than his was.

Unfortunately I spend all the money I make, so that wouldn’t do me much good.

Maybe I’ll include a screenshot of my contract or something

First thing you're going to want to do is get an icced out grill like Paul Wall.

Dude you’re over thinking this. You need to pose in front of your base model German car with your submariner on. Make sure it’s in plain view. Also open up with “ hey you cc pleb. I make 6 figures And therefore you should date me” or something of the sorts. Bonus points if you can get a reservation at Dorsias. Hopes this helps!

Yeah I’ve thought about just buying a fancy car. For some reason CC girls think having a fancy car makes you rich, although in reality it does just the opposite

Not that you're asking a gal's opinion, but here it is regardless... news flash... not all chicks are into money. I hope that doesn't shock you or blow up your world view... :)

I dated a wide range of types before marrying and yes, guys with money can be fun, to a point.

But just like a hot chick has a limited shelf life... arm candy will only please and amuse you for only so long, am I right? If a rich guy's got a shitty/jerky attitude, or doesn't have anything interesting going on in his life, or doesn't know how to treat others/interact with others or isn't physically attractive to some degree or is lousy in bed... I'm gone, as would be many of my gender.

Plus, do you honestly want to attract women that are only interested in your money?

Very convoluted response (no surprise there, right boys?)

Are you trying to say women get bored with money? Money doesn’t age like a 20 year olds hot body so that’s a poor comparison

You found my reply “very convoluted”? Seems you’re in lonely company, if the quantity of MS thrown is any indication.

I’m saying that if one concentrates on only a single facet, whether it's looks or money or anything else, that things tend to lose their luster fairly quickly.

I'd prefer a guy, regardless of his age, with money and the confidence not to have to continually flex over a guy, again regardless of his age, with money who feels the need to flex at every turn.

Confidence and self-assuredness are sexy. Arrogance and cockiness are anti-aphrodisiacs.

I mean, by definition, it does. It's called inflation. You might have and/or look like a million bucks today, in 20 years, if you don't work to keep it up, it'll be similarly worthless.

InfoDominatrix Your advice makes far too much sense to be on WSO

In all seriousness though your advice here and other discussions is really good

Aren't you an intern?

Edit: You're still in college, therefore you aren't making anything. Overflexing on girls is a turn off from everything I've seen. I already think you're a douche but if you project success while not shoving it in some girls face, then maybe they will think otherwise. Let them come to their own conclusions because if you're trying to pick up the gorgeous women you say are flocking to you, be aware that when it comes to money, they could probably find guys making a lot more than you.

Dayman?

I'm glad thats what you gathered from my comment. The point of me saying that was to not overflex. It is GENUINELY A TURN OFF. A lot of the attractive girls I know do in fact date guys with solid bank accounts. However, these guys are really interesting and have a lot going on in their lives outside of work, which is what dominated the conversations that initiated the mutual attraction between them. Money can be a catalyst to be a more interesting person by giving you the financial support to pursue more hobbies and do more interesting stuff, but if its just sitting in your account that who cares. Also buying tables at fuckin Lavo or Marquee will only get you so far.

Also, all of these guys are in really fuckin good shape. If you started hitting the gym I'm sure that would help. Guess we do have that in common lol

**"why would she be going for a guy that only makes $150k per year? ** That would be an ineffective gold digging strategy." **

Well said. Wealth X report states there are 260,000 UNHW Individuals out there with net worths $30M+ If a girl goes after someone making 150k she is in no way a gold digger........

Interesting question that hasn’t been answered... how do you work it into the conversation? Or how do you get the girl to ask how much u make

One time I was on Metro North heading to White Plains when I was eavesdropping on some youngsters near me. It was one ginger guy presumably 17 or 18 years old and two girls of comparable age that he seemed to have had just met. This guy is interjecting how he's going to college next year into seemingly every topic among other things he's bragging about. I mean somehow he keeps bringing up his college over and ober again. Now I get that a high school senior is excited to go to college but this was just over the top. After like 10 minutes of this one of the girls FINALLY asks the question this guy had been fishing for: where are you going to college? And I swear in my brain I'm like he's about to say Harvard for sure. And what do you know on fuckin cue he says Harvard. Now I have no idea if he was telling the truth or not. But that certain rehearsed casualness in his answer said to me that he had done this many times before and would do so many times in the future. This technique of baiting out the question so that he could coolly bring up his admission to Harvard was truly the mark of an aspiring expert braggart. You don't go through that whole routine just to tell people you're going to Binghampton.

And THAT'S how you show you're a douche with or without being rich.
