When you're at a bar having drinks and someone asks you a personal question, stand up and in robot voice say "I am a robot" with robot arms and then just robot walk away.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

How can I avoid becoming personally involved with people at work? Every time I do, I regret it—not in a backstabbing way, but because I end up feeling disappointed from being vulnerable, and dealing with the issues that arise later on. Often, after someone asks me a personal question or shares something with me, I unknowingly cross the line between a professional and a personal relationship, and it’s a line I’d prefer not to cross. How can I keep work relationships strictly professional? It tends to make things messier, and if the relationship becomes unbalanced or inconsistent, it can quickly become overwhelming and uncomfortable.
