Haven’t seen anyone post about this in a minute but how do I post anonymously? Im pretty knee and know it’s some ratio but haven’t been getting anywhere. I want to ask questions but am afraid of doxxing myself

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

a) Create username like "SomeCaliberTalent"

b) Post off-topic material in IB forum to get it moved to off-topic

...

c) Profit

You can't post in Off Topic with a anonymous name, they changed it what feels like years ago but the above workaround works if you're that paranoid. It's already anonymous, unless you were goofy enough to use your real email to sign up there's no way to dox yourself unless you post obviously personal information.

Anon posting has weakened this website. You're already anon. You don't need double anon.

It's just that it's difficult to keep track of & remember when disparate vague details you've given about yourself in the past can be used to construct a doxxing picture

Isaiah_53_5 💎🙌💎🙌💎 did you receive notification of the weird comment someone called setistepper made in reply to my comment (mod team got rid of the reply to my comment of course)? I'm not sure how it's related to what I said.

No I didn’t see anything

Interesting, there’s a handful of people in the other post who say wso isn’t anon, but you say otherwise. I’m guessing people are generally anonymous, but no one’s fully anonymous?
