Yet Another Mail Merge. This is a mail merging system but also tells you whether they opened your email or not. It's free for first 50 emails/month but u have to pay moving forward. Been very useful for me.
at my old job, we used Streak. not sure if it works for emails outside your organization, but it’s worth a shot
