How to Spot DEI Becky in IB

About time we list key traits of DEI Beckies:

- Not always but often from an affluent background

- Mostly white but can be of any color

- Bail on office by 6pm to WFH while having no family to look after

- Dislike feedback unless delivered by MD/D

- Often label constructive feedback as misogyny  

- Need additional staffing to pick their slack on files

- Intentionally are staffed on value worthy files to make guest appearances and often operate as glorified coordinators

- Senior bankers overstate their contributions to deal teams to build their profile for self-serving promotions

- Often are assigned a lighter workload vs male peers yet still complain

- if remotely attractive then don’t hesitate to manipulate senior bankers with flirting to gain favours

- Often act as “work wife” of MD/D

- Receive special gifts / industry / dinner invites from senior bankers which are unrelated to work 

- Frequently play victim in front of senior execs and HR to complain about toxic work culture to avoid accountability 

- Promote a culture of incompetency and low productivity 

- Advocate discrimination against men in hiring and promotions and use senior female bankers to push this agenda

- Staunch supporters of lobby groups like VersaFi which preach discrimination against men

 - Pretend they are fighting for equity but in effect always forcing equality of outcome

 - Complaining that male peers are not open-minded yet sabotaging them behind their backs in front of seniors and framing them as misogynist

Wait till they start stealing your bonuses. You will pick up their slack and get paid less. MD wants them to succeed over you so he can collect a fatter bonus.

While I love my Mom and my girlfriend dearly, I fucking hate how women ruin almost everything they touch.

Finance is now hyper-feminized and unbearable. The simp, loser, wife-guys allow this too. They deserve the same amount of hate, if not MORE than the DEI Beckies.

I think the pendulum will probably swing back the other way once the scale of societal destruction becomes more clear in a generation or two
