How to stop getting sick so fast in NYC
I stg when I was in Philly I would've gotten sick like once or twice a year but in NYC I get sick like once every 2 months.when I was doing my SA I got sick twice it was ridiculous. How do I curb this its pissing me off. Like I cannot bethe only one that faces this.
To curb getting sick frequently in NYC, here are some actionable tips based on the most helpful WSO content:
Prioritize Sleep: Aim for at least 6+ hours of sleep whenever possible. Sleep is critical for maintaining a strong immune system.
Stay Active: Incorporate consistent aerobic and anaerobic exercise into your routine. Even 30 minutes a day can make a difference. If you're short on time, consider walking to/from work or doing quick workouts like push-ups, sit-ups, or squats.
Eat Clean: Focus on a diet with less processed food and more whole foods like fruits, vegetables, oatmeal, and lean meats. Avoid excessive sugar and overly processed snacks. A Mediterranean diet or healthy options like Sweetgreen can be great choices.
Minimize Alcohol and Substance Use: Heavy drinking can weaken your immune system. Try to limit alcohol to social occasions and avoid overindulgence.
Hygiene Practices: NYC is densely populated, so germs spread easily. Wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and carry hand sanitizer for public transit or crowded areas.
Manage Stress: High stress can weaken your immune system. Consider stress-relief practices like meditation (e.g., using apps like Headspace) or taking short breaks during the workday to reset.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your body functioning optimally.
Be Street Smart About Health: NYC's environment can be harsh. Avoid overly crowded areas during flu season, and consider wearing a mask in high-risk situations (e.g., subways during peak hours).
Evaluate Your Living Situation: Poor ventilation in apartments or exposure to allergens can contribute to frequent illness. If possible, improve air quality with air purifiers or ensure proper ventilation.
Listen to Your Body: If you feel run down, take a step back and rest. Overworking yourself can make you more susceptible to illness.
By implementing these strategies, you can significantly reduce the frequency of getting sick in NYC. Stay consistent, and you'll likely see improvements over time!

Multi vitamins have done wonders for me.
How does that help just curious? I figured the source of the problems is the subways since I drove in Philly.
Do you have the slightest idea of how sickness is caused and how your body fights it? That’s how vitamins work. Use the immune boost vitamin along with multi vitamin. Since the vitamins in the immune boost are water soluble, you can’t overdose on the overlap. You will just piss it out.
Oh bet thanks dude I'll try this
