I love America So much
I just love this country so much that I want everyone to know how awesome it is. Sure we broke away from the English in 1776, but we sure showed them. We had our problems during the Civil War, but we resolved that problem shortly there after. Republican, democrat, independant, green party, tea party, whatever your political stance, I love this country so damn much and think everyone can agree that the United States is the best country on the face of the earth despite our differences.
Capitalsim, democracy, freedom, fireworks, firearms, achohol, and whatever else floats you boat, this is just plain great. If you have a problem with our nation you can call 1-800-FUCK-YOU. Maybe WSO should ban drunk forum titles, but this sure seems likke a good idea right now.
FYI - I have never left America and never plan on doing so.

I love America and I fail to see how that would make you a redneck. There are many beautiful places in the world and many great countries, but none that I would want to be a citizen of other than this country.

I consider saving the continent through 3 world wars (WWI, WWII, Cold War) as well as rebuilding them after WWII enough goodwill for a long time to come.
The Middle East probably dislikes us the most. They also have no freedom so it is hard for them to understand what truly makes this country great. I hope one day the ME becomes democratic with tolerance and peace.
China has always had good relations with the USA. I could see no reason why they would hate us considering we buy all of their shit.

Having lived in europe as well as developing countries for extended periods of time I truly believe america is the best. Is it perfect, by all means no. But its definitely the best option with the most opportunities. In almost no other country in the world can you go from poor to rich in a single generation.
A wise old friend once told me that there are two things you can do to make a person DESPISE you:
1) you can see them for who they truly are and not for who they appear to be
2) you can help them in a situation where they cannot help themselves
If you think about it both factors imply "you" having a level of superiority and dominance over this "person".

It's funny, but Europeans love the US for the small stuff, like Coca-Cola, McDonalds and Hollywood. I remember being at some US airport one day when these two French dudes, who were clearly stateside for the first time, were rushing to find a McDonalds to see what a Big Mac tastes like over here (oddly enough, they're better overseas). While Europeans are grateful for WW2, they secretly love the US for its NYC/Hollywood culture and not current economic or foreign policies.
