LOL been there. I've had some wild work-related dreams. Tends to come when the hours have been insane for me. Then I dream about receiving emails in the middle of the night and I wakeup and check my phone. Weird feeling isn't it? that this job takes over our mind waking or not. Don't think too much about it, it'll pass. You're probably just extra stressed right now. Take a walk today during work for like 20 mins. Get some sun. You need some form of recovery, no matter how small

It sounds like your subconscious is clocking in overtime! Based on the most helpful WSO content, this could be a classic case of work-life imbalance creeping into your dreams. Some might call it "work-life blur" or even "sleep-working." It's a sign that your mind is over-engaged with work, which can happen in high-pressure roles like investment banking or consulting.

To counter this, consider setting boundaries before bed—like avoiding work-related tasks or thoughts an hour before sleep. Engage in relaxing activities like reading or meditating to help your brain disconnect. Remember, a balanced bundle of work and leisure, as discussed in WSO threads, maximizes your utility and keeps you sharp both at work and in life.
