IB/Consulting Positions in the Developing World
Does any monkey out there know if analyst positions at BB and MBB offices in SSAfrica and Latin America less competitive than in the states?
Also does comp take a huge hit compared to American offices?
i work at a BB in NY. our latam coverage bankers (i.e. based in santiago, lima, panama etc) have 30-50% of NY comp with 90% of the hours.
so yes, its less competitive
If those countries are ~50% cheaper doesn’t it balance out
