ICE Agent shooter suffered internal bleeding - CBS news

Will all the people who so confidently proclaimed he wasn't hit by Renee Good's vehicle please politely apologize to the rest of us who had eyes and weren't blinded by politics?

One at a time please.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Ross' injury, but has not yet responded to CBS News' requests for more information

There's no medical record to actually back up this claim, so until we actually see that we can't confirm the story. Considering that, we have to take anything that an administration known for lying might not be telling the full story. Internal bleeding sounds really bad, but internal bleeding is defined as the bursting/damage of blood vessels under the skin. That could be life threatening, or it could literally just be bruising. Bruising could've occurred at any point to Ross before he actually was treated for injuries. If you hit your leg on the table, that causes internal bleeding.

I'm not saying with conviction whether Ross was or wasn't hit with a car. What I am saying is that he was clearly outside the range of the car when he fired the shots, and if the car was directed towards him, then firing into the car would've been incredibly irresponsible because it would've continued on the exact path it was already on. This isn't something that you're pointing out. If Renee Good did hit the officer, that sucks, but she doesn't deserve to be killed for it. Charged with assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon, maybe, but getting killed? Are we really going to argue for even a second that that's justified?
