If you had to make $1M in 6 months how would you do it?

You wake up and there’s a gun to your head.

Your degenerate gambling habits have finally caught up with you. The man with the gun says 6 months to pay up.

Your wife and family don’t know about your gambling problems and you’re too petrified to tell them what you’ve gotten involved with.

Can’t sell any assets or quit your job. Can’t do anything illegal. What are you doing in 6 months to come up with $1M bucks to pay off Tony Soprano?

Yolo options. There isn’t any other way imo. If illegal activities allowed, 100% arms trafficking as my family comes from 3rd world. In America, drugs easiest, but it’s so dangerous. Why bring a new guy in from the outside?

Hard money loans, foreclosed real estate, and probably some meth to keep going. It would be a push, but better odds than just options.

I agree that fraud would probably be your best option. The hard money lenders' selling point is that they're quick to close, so their due diligence is probably going to be questionable. The fraud would probably not be clearly identified until after 6 months. Prosecutor would probably choose not to charge if you cooperated with the prosecution of the gambling crook.

Found something in an industry that is in vogue (AI?) and then go door-to-door to raise some funds from investors or incubators with a plausible plan and steps on how you plan to be the next leader in this field. When you reach $1M, you pay Tony Soprano what you owe and you escape death. Your next step is to declare Chapter 11 because you're insolvent and then, when investors request to pierce the corporate veil, you go for a Chapter 7. You saved yourself from death and you start with a credit score from 0, basically a new life. Even if you're accused of fraud (as SBF), prison is better than death so it's a win no matter the legal consequences. That's the most realistic thing I'll do.

Buy land, 'cause God ain't making more of it.
