I'm not a spammer

Every time I post I get asked to type in some obnoxiously unreadable captcha phrase. Does this happen every time because it's very annoying.

Half the time I just abandon the post rather then wrestling with captcha.

I think its due to your lack of nanners. I'm not being a dick here but if I'm not mistaken once you hit a certain nanner threshold you don't have to do that anymore.

You don't want that...lots of rooms and walls, lots of sitting and generally lots of trouble. You don't need the agony and the heartbreak. Save yourself...

I will second what HPM said. Until you hit a certain threshold you have to continue wrestling with the captcha phrases.

might have to do with your username...captcha only comes up if it is suspected spam and if it is coming up every time it's not what you're writing but likely like your username.

and it is true -- if you are able to reach 100 bananas your account won't be checked for spam. sorry for the inconvenience...the spam filter is clearly not perfect.

Why does captcha come up after we edit a post? It's a bit ridiculous.

Get more nanners!

And obviously its so those spamming bitches can't make a post then edit it and add in their adds for Viagra

The same thing has been happening to me since I joined the website. When I logged on last week, I got a welcoming message saying that I was rewarded 2 silver bananas. But When I check they were not there even though I didn't get shit thrown at me. lol

I probably write more than 2 posts last night and every time I want to submit my post, the captcha would come up. It is such an annoying process that I will now just read the forum instead of posting.

I had the CAPTCHA all the way well into the 400s with my banana points. I think it's triggered by something you have in your name or posts, but I agree, after I hit somewhere near 500 it just dropped away.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

I think Patrick changed some of the setting rather recently so that might be why you were still be effected even though you had more than enough banana points.
