Implications of Evergrande?

Seeing a lot more press recently on this - will the Chinese government let it fail? Will they bail it out? What kind of secondary / indirect consequences could come from this?

Sincerely, a 1st year Analyst selfishly worried about the prospect of another global economic crisis

I've been reading Burry's tweets all morning and have not been able to do any proper work today. What is deeply concerning is not Evergrande itself, but how many other companies are set up in a similar manner.

I don't know... Yeah. Almost definitely yes.
