Interning in New York next summer and need advice on the usual/economical options for housing during the summer. Do most people live in dorms? If so when do I need to get on top of that? Additionally, what alternatives are there to dorms that would be within reason. Any help or advice is appreciated!

If you want the best bang for your buck, NYU dorms might be a good place to start. Would also be worth asking your employer if they have any recommendations (some banks will partner with a housing provider and you can get a discounted rate)
