Internationals out there - personal finance advice

Hello,

I am an international student who will intern this summer in IB, and hopefully, I will start my career in the US (hoping more than 1 year of OPT).

I received my SSN and I am looking to open a bank account to receive my salary and eventually set up IRA/Roth IRA account.

My parents are not from the US and I am very confused about the topic.

Do you have any resources you recommend to learn more about personal finance, I am also very confused by how taxes are paid.

If I can ask two quick questions:

-international analysts, are you contributing to your IRA/Roth IRA, or just to a Brokerage account?

-what platform do you recommend to both receive my salary (I do not have a bank account at the moment) and to invest it? I would like to have everything in a single platform

Thanks a lot and if anyone would be available to reply to a few more questions that would be awesome.

PS: international analyst/student feel free to share any personal finance lessons you have learned over the years
