Internship shortened to 6 weeks and moved to fully virtual format
I will be interning this summer at a large commercial bank think (Wells/TD/Citi) for what was an originally 10 week summer intern doing data analytics. We just received word today that the internship has been changed to 6 weeks and moved to a virtual format. However, we will be compensated for our original 10 week pay which was really good news. Furthermore, if the position for some reason is canceled we still receive a full 10 weeks pay as well as a guaranteed interview for next year.
I hope this helps lighten many of worries if you haven't heard yet from your firm about their internships being cancelled, etc.
