I have never heard of a straight investment banker (not CEO or member of management committee) making more than 20 million. I know Gary Parr had 4 year 36 million dollar contract (9 mill a year).

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

what great things are you going to do with all that money anyway? Not to get all "Obama" on you, but imo no salaried man needs more than $1M/yr.

Your bonus is based on business you bring to your desk/department, not because you look good in a suit. You say that now, but if you ever happen to be up for a 5-6M bonus after taxes, I highly doubt you will wire 5M back to the bank. If you are willing to forgo that much in merit based bonus money, I will gladly PM you my banking details :)

Forget that, I'd be happy with $500k. I don't need a private jet-I'd rather fly business class.
