Is it rude to always order "to-go" at restaurants without a takeout menu

Probably a dumbass question... But I'm not sure- I always go to this bar and grille and they dont seem to happy when I walk in and order to go... Probably cause I dont buy drinks, but I do leave a decent tip considering there's no related service... Thoughts?

Monkey poo, yes?

Dude, they're making money and don't care. Actually, it's cheaper for them to do take out. If you call it in five minutes before closing, they will hate you. If you aren't a douche and you tip, they will love you.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=restaurant+etiquette was that so hard?

That LMGTFY gag might be funny on occasion, but I just Googled "restaurant etiquette" and found nothing on the first three pages that had anything to do with this question.

If they seemed pissed off, it might be because you're not calling ahead. They might feel like you're being impatient with them just standing there or sitting at the bar.

One of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.
