is the CSC worth it?
hey guys i’m thinking of taking the Canadian securities course is it worth it for standing out when applying to finance jobs in canada im not specifically interested in IB so if it helps me to stand out in corporate banking, Equity research, sales and trading or capital markets (DCM or ECM) i would do it. any thoughts
Will it make you stand out? No.
Is it hard? No.
Should you still do it? Probably. It costs next to nothing and requires next to zero time commitment.
man do u know this certification, its costs nearly 1100$ and the recommended time to prepare is 135-200 hours,
I have the certification. It isn't hard at all. I skimmed the book and I'm average intelligence.
If someone needed 135 hours to prepare for the CSC they have bigger issues
