Trump signed ~100 exec orders in Day 1. Among the big ones:
1. Getting rid of useless DEI programs federally
2. Mandating there are only 2 genders (finally some normalcy)
3. Closing down the border more rigorously and sending troops to enforce it
4. Deporting criminal illegal immigrants and fixing immigration (i.e. remain in Mexico)
5. A return to energy independence
6. Designating the cartels as terrorists -- no idea why this didn't happen in the prior admit, ridiculous number of Americans dying from fentanyl
And many more to come. All completely common sense and normal viewpoints, it's awesome to see America returning to its roots of greatness
AMazing how many lib groups are trying to oppose this even though its the mainstream viewpoint. They're screwed though, the companies are not on their side, the govt is not on their side, and the mainstream portion of America is not on their side

Progressivism peaked and is now going to continue losing for a LONG time. What was once a tailwind to progressive brain rot has now become a headwind. Why?
When there is massive economic surplus (i.e. plenty to go around) it leaves the door open to a lot of surplus policies that are not based primarily on practicality. Which is what we had starting from post-WW2 when America was dominant all the way to the financial crisis. Progressivism is tied heavily to globalization in this regard, and globalization peaked in early 2010s as per trade data. Since then it's been falling and we're only now seeing the effects play out (10-15yrs later) in a sustained manner (2016 with Trump 1st term was an early sign).
We are moving structurally to a more challenging economic backdrop with higher inflation, higher income inequality (growing share accruing to top 10%) and a focus now on dividing the pie (vs. growing the pie). Which means conservatism / isolationism are now on vogue for the next few decades, like progressivism / globalization was for a 4-5 decade run. Liberals will still win elections, but a smaller share than before and by a smaller margin (esp if they deviate into identity politics, which flourishes only when there is surplus)
The Democratic party is now fighting a battle between its hyper left and moderate wings, but they at least at the moment don't have a clear message anymore. And the Republicans have supplanted them in the more recent election cycles as the working class party, while Dems have become the party of the elites (which is a dwindling percentage of folks).
All to say, America is returning to its core values (i.e. conservatism paired with a strong focus on technological / industrial leadership). This is why it truly is morning again in America
You could add how comfortable America had been globally after the fall of the Soviet Union. Competition with China (and maybe a limping Russia / Iran) looms and progressive policies don't inspire confidence to remain on top.
