Its Mildly Annoys Me When Colleagues Thank Me For My Work

I am going to go out on a limb here and think that its a personal issue an not many people feel this way. I don't mean getting thanked when I do someone a favor. What I am referring to is more along the lines of your fellow analyst came by and thanked you for doing a deck unrelated to their group. I see a select few people thanking each other, and me, for shit like this and it really grinds my gears. I think they're tools. Am I the tool?
