Khabib vs McGregor Discussion

As I'm sitting here on a Friday afternoon at my keyboard pondering the meaning of life (and waiting for my scenarios to finish running), I wonder - who would win the Khabib vs. McGregor fight?

Personally, I feel McGregor will be too light on his feet to be instantly taken down and mauled by Khabib. McGregor will take home the victory by walking Khabib down and being too slick.

Although I thought McGregor was an entertaining fighter back when he was willing to fight, I think he's spent too much time out of the ring. Khabib has had 3 fights since McGregor last danced in the octagon, and I think Khabib has more stamina and could pull something off in the later rounds.

Either way, I'm pumped. Should be a great match.

team khabib. I suppose I could regurgitate every piece of UFC commentary that khabib is undefeated, hasn't really been tested, never loses a match in sparring (even when going against higher weight guys like rockhold), and even if khabib never actually takes him down he'll be so worn down from takedown defense that he could succumb anyway. combine that with his perceived lack of conditioning (doubtful, mcgregor is a beast and definitely takes this fight seriously), and you have a recipe for a khabib victory.

if I'm being completely honest with myself, I want khabib to win because I hate conor's attitude, but regarding the outcome of the fight, I have no fucking clue. conor could just as easily catch khabib a couple times in the jaw while going for a takedown and get a TKO. either way, should be epic
