Laptop Choice
Hello,
I’m an incoming student at NYU planning to switch my 16 inch MacBook Pro out for a lighter option. Given that I am trying to break into finance, what is the best laptop for my needs? I understand that it may benefit me if I used windows so I could practice excel/get used to the windows OS.
I would prefer something more modern and low profile, given that I am going to live in New York and would probably need to carry my laptop around the city.
Any input would be appreciated.
Dell xps or Lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon are always safe bets.
Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.
The new XPS 14 has capacitive touch buttons for the function keys (esc, delete, insert, end, home, prt sc). Would you say that would be a dealbreaker for excel modeling?
