Lease ending next month. Should I move out of Manhattan?

Was thinking of somehwre in New Jersey or Maybe Long Island city. Most of the people I hung out with aren’t in Manhattan anyway  anymore. Thoughts?

I feel like those areas aren't really providing that much value...what is it? Are the prices really that disparate right now? I could see if it's a property/backyard/etc play but this seems pretty similar.

Perhaps further out? Honestly I see a wfh environment for most of 2021 so even if I go deep into NJ or like a westchester I could get a one bedroom for what I’m paying for a studio right now and then some change. Yes the city gets further out but I’m making plans only once every few weeks now so a one hour commute here and there isn’t end of the world.
