Looking for a Roommate in Williamsburg

Hello,

Since I've had success here before, figured I'd make another post. My current roommate is moving in with his GF end of February, but I would like to stay at my current place.

The apartment is roughly 700 sq. ft. with a bike room, laundry room, rooftop, and central HVAC. About 5-7 min walk to the Lorimer / Met L and G stop or McCarren Park. Rent is $4300, split $2100 / $2200. I am in the smaller room at $2100. Prefer non-smoker, male, no guarantor.

About me: I am a 28M from Philly area, moved here to NYC in 2021, and work at a credit fund around Union Square. I’m fairly social and enjoy hosting, but I also value my alone time. I like reading, watching TV, jamming on the guitar or cello, playing board games or Switch games, and sorta into fitness. I prefer the cold and I'm more of a night owl. Not huge into pop culture, social media, or sports and I am really bad with names and spelling.

Let me know if the timing works and if this sounds like a fit. I can be flexible to a later start date.

Damn, those bedrooms are small. floor plan 1

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

Thanks for share your co-op in Astoria that is only 100 sq ft larger. Super helpful to the post.

Your bedrooms are 8'10." those extra 3' makes the rooms usable.

I'm also top floor, the views of the Triboro and Hell's Gate are great.

I used to live next to the Westmont station on the PATCO, BTW  The smaller "kid's" BR that I used for my office was about that size.

PS. Modern floorplans lie, The appraiser called it 900sqft, but the 1948 floorplan said what you're seeing.
