Manager accused me of interviewing
A few weeks ago I let my manager know that my grandma was in the hospital and not doing well. During a catch-up this week, he asked if I was interviewing elsewhere, to which I said the truth which is no and that I have had to head out early a few days (maybe 30 minutes earlier than normal) because my family and I have been rotating time keeping my grandma company. He responded saying “I wouldn’t expect you to tell me if you were interviewing” that was it. Felt pretty disrespectful. I could easily let it go but wanted to hear anyone’s thoughts.
