Manga - Thoughts? Favorites?
So I may be alienating myself here, but does anyone else keep up with manga nowadays? I read the weekly Naruto and Bleach chapters.

Career Resources
Not exactly "nowadays" but I grew up with Japanese manga. Few of my favorites
-Slamdunk -Doraemon -Death note -Rurouni Kenshin -Hikaru no Go (I cried so much at the end when Sai disappeared sob) -Hajime is No 1 (and Kaze Hikaru by the same author) -Bleach -Hunter x Hunter -Dan Detective School (love the anime series as well) -Great teacher Onizuka -Boys over flowers (yeah keep laughing)
and a whole lot more but I just can't recall all of them anymore! Dang I must have read like hundreds of them when I was in elementary & middle school!
Dragon Ball.
hentai
Yes, this is my favorite one. I read it at least 1x / day and watch it 2x / day. Poll: who would be interested in starting a WSO Hentai Club?
Never liked Manga shit, but I recommend anyone with any interest in anything at all to check out Neon Genesis: Evangelion (the series and the subsequent movie.) Shit is amazing.
Really enjoyed it. One of the only anime/manga I have enjoyed.
My parents were not too attentive, and didn't really understand that Japanese cartoons might not all be kid friendly. So I ended up watching the entire series at ~8 years old. Freaked me the hell out then, but now I think it's great.
I'll periodically check this one manga, Berserk. Really amazing art for a comic. I mean that author either has an army of assistants or OCD.
That's hardcore. I watched it during a college winter break. Such an amazing series on so many levels.
Real talk - it's too bad there isn't an exit opp to join NERV.
No. Stop.
City Hunter !
Woo didn't know people enjoyed manga here !
I loved Death Note, Monster, GTO, and Angel Densetsu. I think I've read way too many back in my heyday, but nowadays I can barely find time to keep up with one or two.
I also really enjoyed the sports and other weird ones, so manga by Adachi, Eyeshield 21, and Bakuman were also great.
Damn how could I possibly miss Monster? One of the few high-brow mangas out there I think. Hollywood should totally make it into a thriller!
I loveeeeee Adachi Mitsuru! Very distinctive style! I think I still have the entire collections of Touch & H2 in my old room. Oh well, childhood days...
i used to read naruto and death note in college. then i realized that i was a growned ass man reading comic books...
here's some advice: if you aren't getting laid, you might want to stop and get new hobbies. if you are... don't worry about it i guess.
Berserk is pretty good/bloody/epic, but it's so disappointing that it hasn't ended and is always on hiatus... Anyone remember FMA or Battle Royale? Pretty good too !
Quarterlife, you japanophile hahaha - I think the one flaw Adachi has is that every one of his manga ends the same way - no real huge surprises. His art style is really old school which I like.
I also never finished Inuyasha, too many volumes and the same stuff over and over again.
There is little to no discussion on anime and manga just found this years old thread.
Used to read bleach, one piece, naruto and death note as a kid.
My favorite manga is solo leveling because this manga story is very good.
It´s funny, when I started reading Detective Conan, I didn´t even know what manga were, I was just super confused that those black/white comics were read backwards. Got somewhat into anime over the years, but not much into manga themselves, until I read Demon Slayer last year (the anime is a fucking masterpiece).
My top 5 anime btw:
Can't wait for Chainsaw Man to come back. Also like Jujutsu Kaisen. I used to read a ton of manga as a kid, like keeping up w/ weekly and monthly series + reading through highly recommended completed series, but now I barely read 4-6 issues a week.
Jujutsu Kaisen is pretty sick, although I watch the anime
