Marcus Lemonis

Does anyone think that Marcus Lemonis ("star" of CNBC's The Profit) is a huge asshole? Half of the show is Marcus just shitting on average business owners. Anyways, we get it Marcus, you know more about running a business than some random schmuck who asked for your help, you don't have to be a dick about it.

yup basically, but the type of person who watches CNBC shows lurves it

heister: Look at all these wannabe richies hating on an expensive salad. https://arthuxtable.com/

These people reach out to him for help and cannot answer basic questions of the business. Then he opens up his own check book and people balk at giving him a chunk of their "business". And once he invests the fight with him or do shit behind his back. All this and you wonder why he is a dick?

I love the show, but think a lot of it is scripted. In real life no one would have tolerance for any of the shit these business owners pull.

It's very factual from my experience as a turnaround specialist. Half of troubled entrepreneurs are nuts and when you're up to your ass in debt with PG's and everything is spiraling out of control - who wouldn't be? Trust me it's far uglier when a lender is forcing the crazed entrepreneur to work with the turnaround guy.

He has a stupid name. Sounds like someone tried to rip off a Roman emperor's name.

People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for freedom of thought which they seldom use.

He looks like a rodent. The concept is great, however I really dislike the show because it is him.
