Mayfair - where to live?

Hi all,

I'm starting as an AN1 in Mayfair this summer, and was wondering what some good areas to live in would be.

I've a budget of c.£1,800pcm — looking for a 1 bed rather than a studio as will be living with my partner.

Would love some recommendations — thank you!

depends on how close you want to be

1.8k pcm won't get you anything in Mayfair

Marylebone will have some flats (probably studios, at a stretch 1 beds) for that kinda money, as will areas a bit further out (near Paddington/Lancaster Gate/Edgware Road)

if you're willing to travel in on the tube, places like Hampstead, Canada Water, North Greenwich are nice (3 stations on the jubilee line)

Is that a budget for each person or for combined? If it is each you will easily be able to rent a flat otherwise it will be a flat share.

If the US keeps tumbling market-wise, I am moving from the Upper West to West London.

Mayfair is gorgeous. When I visited a few months ago, I realzied the whole "Londonistan" thing was pure BS
