MBA Mondays Is a Must Read
If you're not already reading Fred Wilson's blog, you should be. Wilson is the co-founder of Union Square Ventures, a Manhattan venture capital fund with investments in companies like Twitter, Zynga, FourSquare, and other massively disruptive Web 2.0 start-ups. He's had more than his share of successes, but more importantly, he's had a lot of flameouts too. He definitely knows of that which he speaks.
I'm writing this to call your attention to a series of posts he wrote called MBA Mondays, where he covers the nuts and bolts of business and entrepreneurship in impressive detail. If you've ever had even a smoldering ember of entrepreneurial desire, you should read the entire series from start to finish. Wilson goes into more depth in the series than I've seen from just about anywhere else.
Even if you're not interested in what it takes to start a company, it's always good to have access to the thought processes of someone who is actually a player in the field. If you're interested in the VC business, it's hard to find someone more open about the day to day operations of a typical venture capital firm than Fred Wilson. And there's some pretty decent life lessons available on his blog as well.
Check it out.
Edmundo,
Couldn't agree more with this recommendation. Fred does a nice job of describing difficult topics in a simple manner. Anyone with an interest in business should add his blog to their daily reading list.

Agreed, great post. Fred's blog is phenomenal and I'd consider it a must-read for anyone looking to break into the financial, business or entrepreneurial worlds.
Thanks Edmundo.
