More violence in Chicago? covered up?
http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/beach-north-… looks like there is more violence going on in chicago, this time at the beach. Supposedly it is being covered up by Rahm E.
He has always reminded me of a sheep.
Why does violence in Chicago make the news so often? It's Chicago...
We know about all this and there's currently no solution. These aren't new problems, so why keep acting so 'shocked'?
Where is it that you're from? I bet that can explain why you don't care about Texas.
My pops is in Chicago for the week, his car was broken into today in the parking lot of a Ruth's Chris. Among other things, his laptop and passport were stolen (they were in a backpack, not visible). Fuckin' Chicago.
Anytime you have a well off center city with a dying and poor surrounding area you will have shit like this. Philadelphia has it happen all the time also.
The answer is really more guns in private citizens hands, profiling by the police and stiffer penalties for minor crimes. Cities like Chicago and Philadelphia pander to the lower class and prevent this from happening. Cities like NYC don't mess around and this crap is minimized.
ANT, we should get some costumes and take care of this shit...

This isn't "more" violence, this was part of the initial string of incidents that happened a month back. Police presence on the Near North side has been boosted significantly and their hasn't been a similar incident since.
That being said, I can't wait until I can have a concealed carry.
