that's not my concern, good sir. i go to stern and have spent every summer of my undergrad in BB IB positions...unless I absolutely screw up or the economy kills me, I doubt I will be making less than her. im more concerned about what her statement implies about her character and priorities. im not in it for the hook ups...if im going to invest time on her i dont want to waste time on someone who is potentially an asshole
she probably just doesn't want to be with a loafer or stay-at-home dad. If you make 5k less than her I doubt you'll have issues. If you quit your job to become a musician and she starts paying for your guys' 3k/month one bedroom then that will likely become an issue. honestly, just take it as that much more incentive to not fuck up.
You state right here that you have spent ever summer of your undergrad in BB IB, so I never said you are a freshmen I read your first post saying you are graduating therefore a senior. EVER SUMMER means you were in IB your freshmen summer. Am I wrong?

Dude, I know. It is truly endless. I'd dump the girl for even bringing it up. What happens if you get hurt 5 years into the marriage and she needs to work? What happens if you lose your job and it takes a year to find another one (common nowadays)? What happens if you have kids and take a lower paying job so that you can actually be a good father?
