NYC Post COVID different question

After reading the other thread I had a different question-

Assuming the city is back fully open in the mid fall, will most people in their 20s return to the city and return to normal behavior (bars, restaurants, etc.)? Worked hard to finally get to NYC for the energy/nightlife/opportunities, and now that WFH has become so prominent I'm scared it may not go back to the same vibe especially since the high COL. Thoughts?
