Another typical city vs. city thread.
What's your all's favorite city above, everything inclusive (including cost)? I'd like to revisit all three cities. Chicago has been my top choice for a while. Low cost of living, and a very urban feel (and beautiful). I don't think the winter would bother me as most people (used to live there when I was a kid).
San Francisco seems great and I only hear good things about it. I'd like to try out the West Coast. I will admit the weather would be pretty nice. But the housing cost... I feel like if I'm paying that much I might as well be in NYC.
NYC obviously has that appeal for a lot of people, especially in finance. I'm going through summer internships, and it seems like most of them are in NYC. I was under the impression that SA got trained in NYC but then got sent to their offices around the country (or stayed), but I'm not sure if this is the case (for public finance). I keep going back and forth with NYC. I'm one of those cheap people who likes to save, so NYC might kill me in that case. I would definitely get a roommate, so hopefully I could stay (maybe) under $1500 on housing... The last time I was in NYC I was convinced I wanted to live there.
What about you guys? What would your top choice be?
What are you wanting to do in public finance?
City/state seems interesting to me in terms of the clients, but if I had a choice I would want to do healthcare.
Also, if anyone on this board knows, which of these cities have the best looking women and what are their personalities like?

Have lived in SF, NYC, CHI and MIA.
If dating / datable women / attractive women is your target when moving to a new city, DO NOT move to SF. It is a flat out sausage fest and all the girls are socialists / oddly liberal (in a wannabe trendy / SJW / "hip" way - think "BLM" written in bold on an oversized/washed sweater) and just not attractive as compared to CHI / NYC / MIA women. No argument here. If you do have an argument, please share your tactics because every SF local I met (straight males) agreed that SF was by far a sausage fest and it would be a significant uphill battle to dating relative to CHI/NYC/MIA.
My rankings (** 1+ years of living in city):
1. NYC** (by far)
2. Chicago** (close second to NYC)
3. MIA** (think Vegas / wild night out vibe)
4. LA / DFW / Boston / Houston / New Jersey / Connecticut
5. SF / Bay area
There are hot women in just about every major city.
One city to the next isn't any more likely to get you into HBS than another. You and your school/employment history are what make the difference.
