NYC watch insurance question

Anyone have jewelry insurance for their daily wears? Would appreciate recs

If I lie on the app and say I never wear it outside, and it gets jacked while I’m out and about, will they cover it?

How can you never wear it outside? It would be a pure investment that you keep locked up in your house technically?

Idk wtf smoke frog is talking about. It’s not a troll question. I tried applying for insurance thru jewelers mutual a couple years ago. One of the questions on the app asked if I wear the watch outside and how many times a week. I truthfully answered and my coverage was denied. That was only one question but I believe that to be the reason behind the rejection
So I’m wondering do I lie? Or do I just go through my renters insurance

Yea right, you’re well off enough to have a 50k plus watch but have no idea how luxury jewelry insurance works. Gtfo of here.

When I got my watch, it was over 50k and I said ima wear it alot and they gave me a quote on the spot. I didn’t take it cause insuring a piece is throwing money down the drain, but c’mon man.

And even if you do have a nice watch, a 5 min convo with the guy you bought it from would answer all your question and even connect you with some insurance agents.

I play the joke game.  I've put  microbrands on TV and the boss who wears a swatch throws around $30B,

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
