The people who talk about fly over country are usually assholes. The entire MM is based in smaller cities around the country. If you're flying over the entire country you probably aren't doing any business.

It's a bougie term that needs to die.

Further data point - Cleveland, home to two top 15 US banks and a bustling medical industry. Lots of revitalization downtown.

Pittsburgh- meds and eds. Home to PNC, Highmark, PPG.

Atlanta, Minneapolis, Nashville, Indianapolis, etc etc. all great, smaller cities with a vibrant economy. The USA is more than NYC and LA. Only people stroking that are idiots.

I really doubt you've been to any of these places. Cleveland has a very vibrant downtown. Pittsburgh is developing and has a great tech scene.

If you work in the MM you see all of these places and everything they make and build. I suggest getting out and seeing this country before you make broad assumptions.
