one of the seniors is a jerk

there’s an MD in my group that is considered to be a rainmaker but he’s straight up a disgusting individual. he has no respect for juniors, which entails several hour long internal calls, extremely vague markups, volunteering us to take on extra work etc etc. i was ok with it at first in the name of the final product but i realized that he’s just a bad person after hearing him make a very inappropriate comment about a female intern. i simply refuse to be associated with people like this, yet alone work for them. i know my bank will not do anything so what other options do i have? quit?

You can end it right there. Money talks, not just in finance, but everywhere. But finance this will be more pronounced given the legacy culture & male-dominated field.

Actually I will give you a tip: Tell that female whom he passed comment on to #metoo the shit out of him (:

Otherwise just move team.
