Sector specific tbh - if it's Industrials this is standard practice actually

If you don’t want a large coffee to yourself you can always ask the alum if they’d like to share one

the alum will def ding you. Reason: you won't last in this role if you can't take at least the mildest form of caffeinated drink

Order milk and cookies. Dip the cookies in the milk when considering a question and loudly go "hmmmmmm" lolol

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

joking aside, coffee chats don't even need coffee or tea. I had back-to-backs this one day years ago (like 5 spread from 10am to 3pm), and no one gave a sht if I actually ordered coffee, tea or whatever else.

don't like coffee? don't order it; but do not get some random half-whip chai latte with oat mik substitute or just a literal glass of milk. Rather you get water, decaf or nothing.

Yes Goldman, JPM, Laz, and EVR just released the "no milk during networking" mandates and I believe other banks are following suit. Could be wrong tho I would double check it might just be those 4. Overall, you should be good I just know it's an auto-blacklist from a few EBs, BBs, and LMMs.

Just be sure you give him this look
