Other interesting websites?
You know you've got it bad when you have an hour of freedom from analyst hell before bedtime and you just look at WSJ and WSO-- any suggestions for interesting stuff to read online unrelated to finance when you only have the energy to mindlessly scroll on a screen?

I was gonna make a joke but I don’t remember it :(
Anyone who watched Suits remember the episode where Louis jacked off to the WSJ? I was gonna say wsj.com

Funnily enough, I prefer /a/, /fit/ and /tg/
one of the worst possible things you can do before sleep is mindlessly scroll with blue light. if it's before bedtime, I'd queue up a podcast, turn a sleep timer on and have it be at a comfortable volume so you can PTFO. I'd also look into breathing exercises, meditation, and journaling (not mentally taxing like reading or studying). if you're mindless, your brain wants to shut down, exposing it to more blue light hinders that process
from andrew huberman, sleep expert at stanford: https://scopeblog.stanford.edu/2020/06/03/setting-your-biological-clock…
The eye and brain clocks are very sensitive at night, he said, and the light signals to the body that it's still daytime, which can alter your sleep for several days. It's like jet lag: "If you're looking at your phone at 1 a.m., you might as well have flown to Abu Dhabi."
the best thing I think you can do before sleep is reading, and if you're not a novel type guy, get a book of essays like what many philosophers have, a daily reader like the daily stoic (ryan holliday is a bit cheesy, but the quotes are good), or something like nassim taleb where it's broken out into various chunks and you don't have to read 20 pages and lose your spot, just a story about carlos (FBR) or his book on aphorisms (procrustes)
that said, if you really really really really really NEED to be online, I like the lindy newsletter and lords of leisure
Great response, I hear you on the reading front-- I love to read but after 14+ hour days my brain is completely fried and I feel like my reading comprehension goes out the window and I don't enjoy it as much. Any non-finance podcast recs? I've been really into a great one called Heist Podcast but just ran out of episodes after a few months of listening, would def recommend.
For non finance, I listen to rogan, Duncan trussell, uncommon knowledge, econtalk (not all finance related), lex fridman, gad saad, Ralph Nader, Dave Rubin, and other podcasts not in english
